Nice to hear the brakes worked better now, be fun to try Mission sometime. Those 235's are certainly getting used. I can't believe they put those huge numbers on the front window, don't they obstruct your view?Leave a comment:

they're only 1.6% larger in diameter than stock which works out to like 5mm overall. I don't think I could go back to 205s, except for winter when I have no choice. :pLeave a comment:

Looks like a blast, cool that you were running in the A class, congrats on that part.Leave a comment:

Great pictures, looked a bit leery out there. Looks like your car was satisfying it's iX needs in that off-course pic.
It looks great though, even with the chunky monkey sidewalls.Leave a comment:

Hard Parking
at mission on wednesday. This time I had real brake pads (HT-10s) and my braking was steady and consistent all day. These things are noisy and dusty as hell though!
morning dry runs:

Got bumped into group A, with the porsches (Carrera GT anyone?) and 400+whp turbo cars. Oh, and a civic hatch that I couldn't catch.

woops! why am I suddenly facing the wrong way?

afternoon wet runs:

This was actually the first time I've really driven my car at high speeds in the rain. It was a great learning experience, and I was able to learn from my spin in the dry to avoid losing control in the rain. Although the car did suddenly break free a couple times that I wasn't able to get back at two other corners, but that was when it was just starting to rain and the track conditions were changing constantly (for the worse).
I have video too but it will be a few days before I can post it.Tags: None
