I was going to run the HREs but the car is too low. I'll have to refinish my 16" RSs, throw 'em on, and go lower.

'tis the plan. I had intended on laying the frame down but hadn't accounted for the 18s getting stuck in the wells out back so soon. I've got some RSs in the garage that will be getting quite the special treatment, and then I'll be taking the car down as low as I can get her. I need to lift the motor and get rid of the under-the-car exhaust setup at the same time.

im working on a stupid low and stupid neg chamber stance on the 6, hopefully less then an inch of clearance at any point, but i too need to solve my exhaust issues :)

I've got about an inch of frame rail clearance, maybe a tiny bit more, and my coils are all the way up.

Are you still going.... the other route? If so, let me know how it goes, I definitely want to know how it works for you. If you're changing it up and going coilovers, let me know and I'll fill you in on my setup (which Rob Case here on r3v helped me plan and put together).

It doesn't matter if your car is fully rusted, missing bumpers, door handles, or turn signals(i.e. POS) as long as it's lowered.

im building my own coils first just to run static over here durring the summer, but yes the car will have its "new" setup for h2o which im driving too. i think ive got my coil plans all ready to go, if you wanna fill me in on something that would be nice too

How was the consistency achieved? Road Salt solution sprayer at the state garage?

How long before holes develop, or did you treat it with something to "stop" the rust?
