Newbie - Fisher Price My First E30

    My E30 (first time E30 owner). I currently drive a E90 328i and E46 M3. I bought a E30 to tinker with as I've always been a fan of the E30 body.

Here are some pics of the 91' 325i E30 I purchased last Friday.

Mods I've bought since last friday.
    • E30 OEM IS Lip
    • E30 OEM IS Side Skirts
    • New Replacement Brake Ducts
    • Euro Grills
    • Black Kidney's
    • Smoked Turn Signals
    • New Replacement Fog Lights
    • E30 OEM IS Lip Spoiler
    • Replacement Valance Grill
    • Lamin-X Yellow Fog Light/High Beam Films

IS Lip, Valance grill and fog installation:

    Shadow Line Project

Not an easy project, very time consuming. I removed most parts besides the rear windshield, rather I masked that entire rear quarters. Two layers of Wurth self-etch primer and three layers of Wurth Matte Black (both purchased from Pelican).

              Cool, man...welcome to R3V.

So many guys own E90s and such and seem to revel in the simplicity and basic rawness of the E30.

Great looking E30, man...gonna do much else? What do you have in mind?

              Closing SOON!

going to keep it as close to stock as possible. once i get the is skirts in and installed, I'm going to take it to get a fresh paint job. The interior is amazingly clean for a 17 year old car. i'm content with the M20, if i want speed i'll take the E46 ///M out. speed and engine tuning was not the purpose of my e30.

These cars are so fun...even M20 powered.

                  5 speed, I assume?

If I can be so rude as to ask how much the skirts set you back?

                    unfortunately it's an auto.

you're not being rude, the skirts ran me about $270 from pelicanparts.com

yes, i'm buying all new parts. i am certain i've been pelican's most valued customer in the last week. 5 different orders with them. LOL

i'm torn between the color, either white or red. i'm 80% at white at this moment.

i plan on a coilover system for the future; body and exterior first. :D

Usually it's mechanicel, suspension, wheels, interior, body.
