I was going to say the exact opposite. I think it looks AWFUL.

On that car, with all that white, it doesn't even look like it's from an E30. It just looks like a big block of white plastic with some holes cut in it. No shape, no character.

to me it looks appropriate for a 318is... baby-M3-ish. somehow seems right that the bottom edge of the bumper lines right up with it; i think it gives the whole front of the car a more cohesive look rather than being "bumper stops and valance starts right here on this line".

*shrug* to each his own i suppose, but i'd look for one for my vert if i didn't already have a rieger lip ready to go on.

Easy solution. Sell the Reiger lip to me, and find yourself that valance.

                  You are a wise man.

                  I completely agree.

See, I like the stock ones better. I don't really care for any of the aftermarket E30 mirrors. Stock ones are the best looking.

The Alpina Valence was a joke, because the car is so low, the valence was no more than 1" off the ground, the car was undriveable.
I wanted to do something different this time, iS lip or Reiger was done a million times, this RD valence - I haven't seen it on a plastic bumpered car yet. I quite like it, also put the stock mirrors and stock iS spoiler back on, driving this 318iS everyday now, it's so much fun
