    A few updates.

A few things are going to move around in the engine bay soon. Im getting an E30 M3 coolant resevior and moving it over to that position and then moving the brake/clutch fluid reseviors up to the blower cover right above the booster. That will allow more room for the larger HFM and a filter with a redirect to just behind the headlights.

I also want to trim off that mount for the early coolant resevior. Im going to sell my RD brace and get a lower unhinged one since I dont need the manifold clearance anymore. There is a LOT of room up front. ALthough the E36 AUX fan is plenty Im thinking about a PWR 40mm rad with a Spal 14" medium profile fan (curved blades) should be a nice upgrade.

Its a dirty install but it runs:

Just begging for a turbo or equal length headers:

Borla XR1 resonator and ProXS muffler, its on a dogbone for the moment but its the same size as the stock muffler so I am going to reinstall it with the factory hangers :
which will raise it up a bit filling in that gap.

And the bling mod that I do with every real mod:

    That should appease UNHCLL.
    Im now E30less.

      Hey! That's not a eta motor. ;)

I love it, nothing I'd change that you didn't mention.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

        looks good!

I'd still throw the non-M valve cover on if I was you. Sleeper is great. Although, I guess that idea is kinda dumb considering the Alpina airdam...

Wiring doesnt need that much clean up to look perfect! Once you move the coolant and brake containers I think it'll look great!

Maybe squirt the radiator bracket with some black paint so its not to obvious.

otherwise i think it looks great and congrats!
Wheel looks right at home too.
        Below the radar...

Actually I am begging for you to stop boring us with this, I am sure every one is real happy that you are going from like what 120hp to 250...but common dude, this is not break threw stuff here I know about 3 of these cars on sale right now.

Just show us the car when you are done so 1/2 of R3v can grab your sack, and the other half can hate.

Dude, he just completed an s50 swap. Doing that is hard work, and I am 100% sure he is damn proud, and has every right to be. Hell, I deal with s/m50 swaps just about everyday, and I still think Ryan's car is bad ass. It does not matter if its breakthrough, he still had the vision, the plans, and actualy went though with them. I say huge congrats Ryan, go sit in the corner e30owner.

Ryan, very clean install, I like the absence of wires and the extra little plugs..
Have fun with all your new power, your ride now has the power to back up its visual bite. A turbo, no. Euro headers? Yes :D
Did you run the remote booster setup?

Avtually if the little brown midget could read he would see the part about appeasing UNHCLL. Add that to the fact that you are so on my jock that you never miss one of my posts you should know that he ASKED me to post pic of my engine.

UNHCLL I have a non-M cover. I will probably toss it on there just to fuck with people now that the exhaust is quiet enough to be passed off as a cat-back. I know it wont pass for a sleeper since I have 245s on the back but, hey, you never know with as many "all show no go" vcars around here. Right now nobody will even look over, my only kills are a 330ZHP and a Pontiac GTP.

Yeah Matt I went to 35%, I like the look better.

Greg, I have no clue. The interior was taurus leather when the guy bought it but the car was redone in 1996 when they did the cloth. The guy is dead now so I doubt he would be able to tell me what it is.
                  Im now E30less.

Looking great. Makes me want to reconsider my long term (and possibly insane) plans to drop in an S-14 and do an m50/S50 instead.

Ska I am sure Jordan will be quick to point out that I cant enjoy the motor because I didnt do it all myself. The bulk of the work was done by a shop.

Avi is just sitting at home in Jersey looking for some attention.

Just think Mark, if you sold me your car you could buy a car with a blown motor and use the rest of the money for the swap. :D

Bout 8k, it could be done for less but I bought a lot of new parts and did some upgrading of other components while I was at it. The exhaust is also fully custom and stainless, that doesnt help much either when you could just modify the stock exhaust and make it fit.

Mark do the S14B25. It would have more novelty, make similar power, and be a bit lighter. Albeit very expensive.

Ska I didnt do a remote booster. I went with a 325ix dual chamber booster with an M5 master cylinder. It fit the M20 fine but the resevior touched the baffle on the M50 so that is why there is a remote resevior on there.

Also VPD is working on a ITB setup that will clear the dual chamber booster, tempting after the cams.
                            Im now E30less.

Rumor has it, Bill Arnold did it a few years back to a cabrio. I may have to contact him and pick his brain. Although there is something to be said for the reliability and lower maintenance of the M50/S50 motors.
