I'm considering selling the shell, mtech and 5 lug sans interior and drivetrain.

I had an '88 iS with GC coil overs on it but I think I was still a good half inch taller than you in the front. It takes a different type of driver to really be able to handle a lowered BMW or anything for that matter.
How long has your car been out of commision? It hurts when you only get to drive a beautiful car once. All my coolant hoses in the recently bought M42 where shot and spewing coolant. Spent a week waiting for the (right) parts to arrive so I could delete most of 'em. That week was toooorture. The day after fixing it, I found a reason to waste literally 3/4's a tank of gas just driving around. Hope to see you on the road soon man!Leave a comment:

^ i've only driven this car once, so have no idea about the front plate thing, however i never put front plates on my cars.
as far as riding low, it is difficult but not unbearable.
and thanks!Leave a comment:

I love Seattle and surrounding Washington State BMW's. They ever douche you for not having a front plate? I rolled around in my new '91 318iS for like 4 days before I realized I had removed the rear plate and was lucky as crap I never got pulled over.
On the original topic: Man, I love your car. Not sure how you roll that low in Seattle though. I'm probably a good "half tennis ball" higher than you and I haven't dropped in the GC Camber plates on the front because my wife still enjoys driving it too much as it is. I've already had visions of her pulling up sans the entire front valance...Leave a comment:
