I highly doubt that I would find any even if there would be any.

Nice starter, get a little paper route on the weekends and start saving your money for mods. ;)

Ha, I'm 16 too and just got my e30 a couple weeks ago. It was pretty much the only car I was interested in and looking for. I just wish mine only had 89k on it. Congrats.

Nice starter! I'm 16 as well and I recommend not wasting your time with all those small exterior mods and go straight for suspension and then wheels. Might take a little while to save up but makes the biggest difference to any car imo and I always wished I did mine from the start. Follow up with maintenance and THEN put the finishing touches on.

Don't know how to explain, but driving E30 is like having sex with a girl of your dreams, but the girl is a bit inexperienced, so you have to show her what to do and she will do it beautifully! ohhh man... after I got the 5sp tranny in it, it is all new love all over again! :)))

Don't powdercoat the bottle caps... the job will cost more than the wheels are worth. Find some euroweaves and be SET! :)

Looks like a great starter car and you seem to have enough taste not to ruin it. To echo what a few have said, work on improving the driver first, attend a few DE's/auto-x's in your area. I'm looking forward to seeing how this car comes together.

Wow you are extremely lucky to score an E30 with such low mileage and only one previous owner, and even more lucky that the previous owner is your mom. That way, there is nothing that anyone is hiding from you when you got that car.

I suggest first doing suspension, then 15 or 16 inch wheels, and then worry about exterior mods and such.

Worry about looks after you make sure it is running well, if it runs like shit then who carses how cool it looks. Also if it was my car i would do suspension wheels and tires first, then move on from there. Great first car too! haha my e30 is my first and current car.
