    Had the M5 detailed

I enlisted the services of Jake (TheJakeR on bfc) to rejuvenate my M5's paint. A little background, it had been sitting dormant at the shop for about 10 months, waiting for a new motor to be built. Anyway, the paint was dirty to say the least. I called up Jake and he did a through clean and polish job on the old bitch. It really woke up the paint. Ended up being an all day affair.

Started the day (popped the ez-up once the sun came up around 11am)

the hood probably took the most amount of work

    finishing up

    post sealant

    yo!

    end of the day.

all in all i'm quite happy with how it came out. i learned a lot about my car's paint, and am stoked to drive it all nice and shiny. thanks jake.

Your hood has a scary lack of "dump" on it.

Glad, the rebuild got taken care of Pasha, and now it looks great too. I'm sure all of the money put into the car will make better since once you get some good seat time in the thing. Congrats.

BTW, what wheels are on that E36? Looks pretty neat.

Looks very nice! The Meguiars 105/205 combo is what all the detailers are talking about these days, and it looks like he had a bottle of 205 there. I bought some 105/205 a few months ago to do a full detail on my M5, but it's been so hot I haven't yet gotten around to it.

Spot on eric. The m105 really took care of the swirl marks and scratches. The 205 just cleans up after it.
