Thank you
No, because it is a clean, low mileage 911 that's been in the family since new. Always wanted it.
I am very happy :D.

So what are your impressions of the 911 vs. the BMW world? I have been back and forth about going to the Porsche side for quite a while now. I'd buy a nice SC or a G50 Carrera like yours. I'm curious to hear how the stack up in your opinion.

Of the "modern" day road going porsches, I really only like the 1970-1989 911's, 951's, and maybe early 928's. Most of the later cars are pork. It said something when they put an automatic in the 964 (well, 944 and 928 also).
Thank you very much! Please do PM me when you will next be in Boston.
Thank you. I agree. I do love this car.
Ryan,
This is tough for me since so much of my car desires right now are emotionally driven. I am sure there are more objective people on here who have more experience with both. My automotive dreams are based on cars that seemed somewhat attainable back when I started "looking" for cars. A 911 seemed like an unobtainable supercar to me back in the day. In 1990 I looked at an 88 M3 for 18,000 and an 81 911SC for 18,000. The SC didn't do it for me knowing that the G50 Carrera was out. Of course I didn't get either, but it helped seal my dreams. I personally wouldn't make a switch. I hope to have another E30 M3 in the next couple of years. However, I do love the G50 Carrera. It is a very physical car. My E30, when stock, felt like a boat in comparison. I guess I am saying that I need both. I will tell you more as I get more time behind the wheel.
Thank you! I was the 4th owner of the M3. I sold it back to the 2nd owner.
I appreciate your kind words. As I mentioned above, this at one time seemed like an unobtainable dream. I am excited. The 911 as well as the M3 are indeed in good hands.
