Going to point out with the others that his wife and him walking away with bruises is living proof how well e30's hold up in a crash.

And, I'm really glad to hear that you and your wife walked away with only bruises.

To the OP, sorry to hear about the car. Sounds like you guys did make it to the ER ok, so I hope everything turns out ok there. Big time bummer about the car.

Eh, I'm not going to argue in this thread. Apologies to the OP, and again, my condolences.

Roundel untouched, passanger elips not a scratch. Looked under the hood, everything sandwiched up to engine block just short of the strut towers.

Weirdest thing... Licence plate. Sharp as a razor blade shaved from scraping on the wall.

            Life is good!

so true, e30's are very strong cars, even without all the safety features that today's cars have they still hold their own.

Sorry to hear about your car ZM but the important thing is that you walked away from it. I got into an accident as well, this past saturday monring at 12 30 am in the rain i hydroplaned into the jersery barrier doing about 50 mph somehow i was fornuate too and walked away without a scratch. I'm just now starting to feel the accident the first couple of days i was great now all of a sudden my back and rib cage area is killing me.
