Nice reliabilty unit but poor gas mileage. I can't stand the way the back always sag, it's like it's programmed into them.
Picked up a new rig (nonbmw) 56k beware

I drive a 93 Pathfinder XE and my dad drives a 94 4Runner SR5. Id take my pathfinder over the 4runner any dahy of the week. Both have a 3.0 V6 and both are slow as balls but will get through anything. In our experience the Pathfinder has been much more reliable but the 4Runner has a much more comfortable ride. But your buying an SUV, and an old one at that, so comfort isnt really an issue. Plus, in pure driving pleasure, the Pathfinder has better driving feel.Comment

Now swap out that shitty IFS and slap on solid front axle on a that bitch. Then you will have fun on the rocks.

I never said I bought it for its driving feel, just that it feels better to drive over the 4Runner. Last I checked, how a car feels when you behind the wheel is a big part of the purchase is it not? You guys take shit to seriously over here.
Either way its a rock solid truck, thatll get through pretty much anything you throw at it. Ive driven across flooded stream beds, rocks, mud, you name it, and did it with ease.Comment

Looks great James. You should take the pin stripe off, take off the chrome fender lip linings, and get some non-white walled tires, and it'll look awesome :)Comment

thats its primary goal, and to allow my car to not be a daily driverOriginally posted by RobI'd buy an SUV to haul shit and drive in deep snow, anything else is less than important. Just me though, dont know how james feels about it *shrug*

You obviously haven't seen Trucks! Everything that you can off road and could be a truck is a rig. ;)Originally posted by Eurospeed88Nice score James.
Just please don't call it a "rig".
Can't loose with a manual Pathfinder. I dig.The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment
