Nice reliabilty unit but poor gas mileage. I can't stand the way the back always sag, it's like it's programmed into them.

I drive a 93 Pathfinder XE and my dad drives a 94 4Runner SR5. Id take my pathfinder over the 4runner any dahy of the week. Both have a 3.0 V6 and both are slow as balls but will get through anything. In our experience the Pathfinder has been much more reliable but the 4Runner has a much more comfortable ride. But your buying an SUV, and an old one at that, so comfort isnt really an issue. Plus, in pure driving pleasure, the Pathfinder has better driving feel.

I never said I bought it for its driving feel, just that it feels better to drive over the 4Runner. Last I checked, how a car feels when you behind the wheel is a big part of the purchase is it not? You guys take shit to seriously over here.
Either way its a rock solid truck, thatll get through pretty much anything you throw at it. Ive driven across flooded stream beds, rocks, mud, you name it, and did it with ease.
