    what would you do?

glossy finish or flat black on an is rear spoiler? It has some faded paint right now so either way it is getting painted but should I do SEM black trim paint or the same finish as the rest of the paint on the car?

Try both. Insert area gloss, exterior SEM...MtechI...ish.

Gloss would look bad on your car unless it matched, which I don't think it will due to it's age.
                      Do SEM

Which SEM did you use? SEM trim black is head and shoulders better than any of the off-the-shelf spray bomb. The SEM pro-max line doesn't seem to be as good IMO, the trim black just levels out and finishes so much better.

gloss is nice but sem takes way less work for good results. black gloss is easy to mess up

yeah I think I am going to go SEM and try it out and if I dont like it I can always sand it down and try again with the gloss.

I agree that the gloss would look a little iffy on my car due to the age.

                              mtech 1 satus?
nah I think that would be too ricy with the IS lip.
