Couldn't agree more, I'm looking for a set of mint 15" cross spokes because the ride on 15's is so much better than the 17's.
16's are a nice compromise but tyre prices are a lot because of the odd sizing. NOt many cars have 16's here so the tryes are a lot to buy.
That's why you should hook up with a GI in RAF Mildenhall or RAF Lakenheath and see if he can deal prices with you. We get VAT free in Germany, saves us 16% and if I remember UK is 21% VAT correct?
Some BBS RZ378's would set it off nicely or some BBS RG's. Or some M3 Evo II wheels in 16" size.

Have you got any contact details, does this guy have a website. I've not heard of the BBS rims that you mention, have you got any pics?? I think it's time for a wheel change.
Was your car originally equiped with an airbag? If so, what modifications were needed to use the E36 rack?
The car never had an airbag, I fitted the later m-tech 2 wheel as a direct replacement.
The E36 rack wasn't the easiest swap. You need a custom adapter made up to mount the top half of the E30 coupling and the bottom half of the E36 coupling. Then you need to make some spacers to allow the E36 rack to fit into the E30 subframe, you can also use washers to space it out.
You also need to get some custom high pressure hoses made up as they need to be a different shape. I also had a problem with the coupling rubbing on the exhaust downpipes but you shouldn't have this problem as you have LHD cars.
Pete... it's funny that your favourite picture is number 5, I took that picture in a local underground car park whereas the first 4 were taken by a professional photographer for a mag.

I wish I could say that I had some contact left in UK but alas they have moved on to new assignments. I miss getting my Scotch cheap. RZ's well Nando, E304lyfe, E9nine, UNCHLL and I all have them now. We are the RZ gang. RG are very much alike but instead of a angular deflection into the basket they are more of a smooth transistion.
I have the magazine that Total BMW put out with your car featured in it over the summer. Great article and I love the pics, I remember seeing them in the mag. Nice work.
