Thanks again for the encouraging comments. The bumpers are not a big concern just want to get a lip back on it, I think I just found one for $10. I don't see this being too difficult to make nice, some exhaust, brakes, reinstall lip and fix the seat will be enough for right now. This isn't my daily driver and it's not supposed to be a race car. I plan on keeping it mostly stock with maybe a few cool trick pieces here and there.

I'm buying the front brake stuff soon, plus the magnaflow cat and muffler, plan on welding up the exhaust this Sunday. I'll post pics afterwards.

his son was in alaska doin the same thing with MB and Ford. i got to meet big cal a few times, he is a blast. now they are all back in cal/nevada. big cal also raises cattle, potato farms (iirc he is the largest independent potato farmer in the states, or was it cattle), and a few other huge ventures. id like to take a helicopter to work some day... from my helipad i mean.
