yeah the lens would work perfectly with the D40. my camera is basically a D40 with a few more megapixels. I am technically not selling the camera, but if the way to get rid of the lens was to sell the camera with it, i'd do that to fund another camera purchase. the smartest thing for me to do, though, would be to just sell the lens. interested?

it took my friend and i 33.5 hours to get from norman to portland, only stopping for food and gas. we went to mcdonalds 5 times i think. it was a pretty awesome trip.
