I figured I would post up a little thread to show some of the progress my 318is has made since I've had it. Nothing extraordinary like some other members here, but the car has come a long way and I feel like its pretty clean.
I've posted up some info in the past but I can't really remember what all I listed, so I'll give a brief rundown of the cars specs as of now:
1991 318is
Very bare bones as far as factory options go
Cloth tan interior
Non-sunroof model
Vogtland 225/315 (I think) springs
Bilstein sport shocks
Ellipsoids
Mark D 93 Octane chip
z3 1.9 shift lever
Completely refreshed suspension including control arms and all bushings
EJnight M42 Skidplate
r134a a/c conversion
Painted red needles
Momo steering wheel
Quick release steering wheel adapter
All red tails
re-painted all trim except shadowline around the windows (haven't gotten to it yet)
Newly completed:
Completely reupholstered seats with new cloth
Dforce LTW5 Bronze wheels with 225/50 falkens (thanks Chris for posting them up here and Tom at Dforce for being accommodating with the shipping)
The wheels really beef up the stance of the car, it looks like it should have a 3.2 in it.
Also had the car out at its first autox recently (with the stock weaves and 195 tires) and it handled great. Little bit too much body roll but I'm not putting any stiffer springs on the car since its my dd.
Enough talk, heres some pictures I took at the beach. No editing so I know they arent great and photobucket really seems to kill the resolution.

Let me know what you think.
