Wow, that's going to look hot when it's dropped. Awesome find!
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Looking back, what are those, 205/40/17's? Look way too small.

Considering those are TSW's, and he lives in Portland, I'm going to assume that the previous owner had the purchased and had the wheels/tires fitted at Les Schwab. Those fucking morons are notorious for selling people ridiculously undersized tires for plus size rims, especially to those who don't know anything about tire sizing.

When I got my first set of 16" rims on my E30 from there, they put 205/40/16's on them.

          215/40/17

there is a $777 recept for stuff from les schwab not wheels but im assuming thats where they went. The wheel shakes at 60 so im guessing they didnt use the right spacers

Les Schwab doesn't use spacers. Last (THE last) time I went there, the retard that "helped" me spent 30 minutes trying to convince me that spacers are unsafe and that I should never use them.

$777 sounds about right for those wheels. I had TSW Revo's installed on my E30 w/ Falken 205/40's and it was about $800 IIRC.

Shaking at speed is more often than not an alignment issue or out of balance wheels.

                    Uh-uh. It's a wheel/tire problem.
