I work in Ford Parts, I might have gotten that engine, was it a diesel? Can your buddy put a name out there. I would love to have someone to blame for this 7,000 dollar 7.3l we installed that wouldnt run. Fed-ex is THE BEST when it comes to shipping, they might fuck it up, but they will ALWAYS pay. I did just recently have a nose panel(possibly my packing fault) and a door panel(their fault but the buyer was satisfied) be delivered damaged. Seriously give me that guys name, I want to go punch him in the face.

Why would you want an alpina front on a late model anyway? Get a euro valance and call it a day.

my car my choice. and it would have looked sick so I dunno why you think it's the "wrong bumper" for a late model. euro valence is my second choice tho. do you happen to know how much they cost from BMW?

They made a Alpina valance for both early and late models. ;)

I had to re-do the paper work at Fedex twice because they did not include the insurance the first time, good thing Leven and I caught their fuck up in time

Its really not fedex's fault. I dont work for them, but that shouldve been sent freight in a crate due to the rarity of the part.

This is correct. It's a replica. Pretty sure a real alpina bumper looks quite a bit different. This bumper got the idea across tho with the "cow pusher" bottom.

Does anyone know if Eurostop still sells this bumper???

yah right. thats the same logic fedex uses and its wrong. they accepted it packed like that at a stated value and had no problem charging to ship it. then when its fucked up by some angry union member they claim improper packing. ill be in court oct 20th suing fedex for 2500 bucks on my evo3 block. i have a backwoods kentucky lawyer on retainer (his mouth retainer is stuck on my zipper) who has helped me put together a bulletproof case so im hopeful i will win. ive had great luck with fedex but they really fucked this one up and refused to pay. the beauty is fedex shipped the block all the way from germany in the same packing but couldnt make it from gods country to seattle.im going to piss on the fedex lawyers leg after i win and walk out

Probably around $325 from BMW. Blunt could do a lot better I'm sure.

I had a similar problem before, I shipped a camshaft out with UPS, I had packed the box with clear packing tape. I got bashed on the e30tech by the buyer for shipping him a broken camshaft, it turns out the box was smashed and the cam was broken in two pieces by a UPS employee, who then TAPED THE BOX WITH DUCT TAPE, and delivered the package anyway. It all worked out in the end luckily I had pictures of the package before shipment AND insured it for $200
