Just remember, always rock a leather jacket, leather gloves, helmet, race boots (don't want to destroy our ankles in a crash do we) and thick jeans at a minimum.)
Fixed that for ya.
I don't see any point in mesh jackets. Saw too many buddies still end up with nasty road rash from the jacket coming apart as the slid down the asphalt. And leather is good for more than 1 crash!

In Florida, you'd be insane to rock a leather jacket. I do agree that a mesh jacket is good for only one accident, but when it comes to your skin, it's worth the investment every time.
But in our heat, it's either mesh jacket or no jacket. Take your pick. :p
Awesome pick up. Buddy of mine bought one that I had the pleasure of picking up and riding back to his place, like a 100 mile trip, really fun machine. I gotta say though, I'm sure the windscreen is functional, but it looks like hell.
Looks like you're pretty well geared up too. Have fun on it.
