Do you have any fitment issues with the 225/45/15s? I have 205/50/15s on my C1's but feel like I may rub the strut assembly with bigger tires.

Also, how are the RS3s? Any experience driving with them in wet conditions? I'm considering those for my next tires.

What offset & size C1s do you have? I don't have any fitment issues in relation to the struts/shocks, but I did roll the inner lip on the rear fenders. Even still, on full compression with my Bilstien Sports & Vogtland springs the rears will still rub the fenders ever so slightly. I will soon be going to a very stiff fully adjustable coil-over set-up, so there should be no rubbing after that. I'm actually going to try to fit 235/40-17 Dunlop Star Specs on 17x8s...or maybe even the 245/35-17 Toyo R1R

The RS3s are a great tire in many regards, but there are some caveats. In autocross or track-day events, they do not work well when it's cold or wet...the Toyos/Dunlops/Bridgestones work much better. However, the Hankooks LOVE heat & are the best when it's warm outside. They also wear like iron, & they don't fall off ever, even up until cords are showing! A lot of National level autocrossers have been able to get over 300 runs out of a set...

For a street tire though, they work well overall. I have only driven on them in the rain once (my car doesn't usually come out of the garage unless it's nice outside ;)), they were fine except in heavy standing water where they wanted to hydroplane a bit. It just depends on what your intentions are for tires...if you live in a warm climate & want to be fast at autocross or on track, & don't want to buy new tires twice a year, the RS3s are tough to beat (especially considering how cheap they are). If you live where it's wet & cold most of the time, I would go with the Toyos or Dunlops, however the Star Specs don't come in a 225/15, & the Toyos are far more expensive & wear twice as fast.
