    Fixed Touring (was touring tragedy)

So, after a dozen weeks or so, I've finally got my Touring back!! The shop did a great job - I've very pleased with the work.

If you want to look at some historical context, do a search for 'touring tragedy' in this forum.

So, proper intro on the car:

1989 325i Touring, I've had it for 4 years or so. I bought it and had it shipped from Victoria, BC to Ontario, the guy I bought it from imported it from Germany.

So far, I've done the following:

IE3 springs, Koni's, 17"x7 BBS RGR's in Diamond Black, 215 /40ZR BFG g-force, AKG bushings everywhere, drilled rotors, Hawk pads, Momo wheel and shift knob, short shifter, glass moon roof, Corbeu driver's seat, K+N cone and e-bay st.steel headers and cat back exhaust.

Some day I'd like to do an engine swap (can't justify the $$'s right now, and the M20 has low miles (about 120K's), and runs like a champ)

I'm glad to have it back ...

    Enjoy

Tourings had an all tan headliner that covered the usually black overhead panel with the check panel and whatnot

Tourings didn't have the black plastic section or black sunvisors like coupe / sedan E30's - it's basically all headliner fabric.

I'm switching to a power roof over the winter, so it will end up more like the traditional coupe / sedan with the black trim piece and sunvisors.

Thats cool as shit. If you wanna sell the headliner covered panel, hit me up, even though mine is power, I'll figure out a plug or something.

It's actually not a separate headliner covered panel, there is no actual panel - the headliner fabric material is continuous from the windsheild to the back of the car - check the photos again ... there's no panel seam

I supose if you wanted a continuous headliner look, you could find some headliner material and cover your black panel
