That looks great! Very well done. What did you use to cut the cardboard to shape?
And I have been reproducing the foam the kit rests upon if you want to buy one, if not no worries just throwing it out there. It looks great as is though, nice job :)
oh and to the poster above me, it definitely isn't NLA. There are plenty of them in stock. Ask a different dealer.

Looks great!! I used SEM on some trim pieces on my mk2 when I re-rapped my headliner and they have held up great for 4+ years. As long as you prepped it fairly well, you should be fine.
Do you still live in Corvallis? I'm livin' down there now too and I'd love to come see your cars! I also run up Mary's Peak every other week or so with some friends you should join?!E30 325i 24v, E36 M3/4/5, MK2 GLI 16v, NA8 Miata

That turned out really awesome! Good job.
also, +1 on black large tool kits. they look just awesome on white e30s. also, if you didnt use flexible paint, it will chip off pretty easy. there's something about the tool kits that makes them not like to retain paint. the krylon plastic paint works the best as i've found, but dont take the tools in and out often. it'll show from where they rub coming in and out.
but now I want to get myself that 6'er's tool box. I didnt realize it had spots to hold other things unlike the one from a 5'er that holds just tools.
