Yeah, the nikasil blocks were pretty problematic, and were replaced under warranty with an alusil block if it had under 100k, it's usually the early 530/540s that bared most of the problems...the M Techniks(M Sports) were the last e34s ever produced...this one is a 10/95 production date. You'll tend to see a lot of nikasils still running in these cars, supposedly the rating of sulfur in the gas can make quite a difference in the life of one. In that 6spd you're looking at, i'd hit it...they're nice cruisers.
