Another chop I did, allowing the flares to protrude out from the bodywork in the rear....it was an idea I was playing with so there would be a 1" wide vent down the side from the top of the tail light to the bumper cover. The perspective of the wing is off some though...
Could be interesting, but I wouldn't say it's an improvement over the normal M3 shape.
Might not be but at least it's different. If I wanted the M3 I would go buy one...because by the time I get done with this I'll have enough into for one lol!
Of course mine will have zero resale; just a fun one-of-a-kind car that should drive, handle, and brake phenomenally.
This could turn out to be one of the most awesome cars in existence.
This, x5. The shaved engine bay is cool too. Glad I'm subscribed to this one.
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

I'll be making a e30 ti out of my red car once i finish the e30 truck this winter. Just a normal is though not an m3 ;)
Guess that means I need to get started ASAP on it! I wanna be somewhat original :p
Last night I took most of the trim off and washed every square inch of the car then degreased, scrubbed, and pressure washed the fender wells, suspension, and undercarriage. It was pouring down rain so figured what the hell...gonna get soaked either way might as well go all out lol!
Bushings, sways, springs & shocks...probably welded perch with a sleeve if I don't find a decent deal on coil-over dampeners. I do know someone that's associates with the owner of Ohlins, that would be nice but I'm not holding my breath lol!
I'm sure I can fab up a coil-over from another make car to work, I heard something about Civics being used in the rear? I have drawn up front and rear in-board suspension setups for the e30 that I am dying to make down the road with a custom double wishbone front...just means I may have a couple holes in my hood since the shocks are integrated into the strut bar. -,-
I put together a Boxster/996 rear Brembo monoblock caliper setup using a custom CNC'd aluminum bracket & hat with a AP Racing rotor for my Integra. We had the minimum order made and have a ton of 4x100 8 bolt aluminum hats left over so the plan is to bore the hub on a pair and use that setup then fab up an adapter for the caliper. I don't know how the offset of the rotor hat will work on the e30 but guess I'll find out as soon as I pick them up. I'm sure I'll have to run spacers to clear the wheels. We ran that setup on Honda Challenge/NASA/SCCA cars for years running well over 140mph and participated in several 13hr endurance races with zero problems from them. I trust that setup, pads are dirt cheap since it's a rear caliper, and they should be sufficient for a street car...brakes are only as good as your tires anyways!
