Next up is respraying the front spoiler...
New rims are 17x8.5 MVR Magums et38 with 215/40/17. They rub a little in the rear but are perfect up front. I'm currently talking to a shop about fixing the rubbing issues in the rear. Eventually I'd like to run 245/40 all around, so I may very well pull all 4 fenders. I'm not a huge fan of the current stretched look, but I put up with it becase the rims are so fucking hottttttttttt.
The picture below still shows that the front wheel is still not cenetered after the 5 lug swap. I'm currently running offset arms (96+ M3), offset bushings, AND slotted bushing brackets. I STILL need to go forward some more. Suggestions? This guy did the e36 swap but has a perfectly centered wheel. How did he do it?
Worlds best cupholder. $20. Mounts right up and looks factory. PM me to buy.
Check out my E39 rear view mirror (no rattles and it has a cool LED for the alarm). I also mounted my V1 life saver to the bottom of the mirror. Obviously it is hardwired. I didn't want to hardwire it in the window because I think it looks like ass and is easily visible to thieves. The position it is mounted in still allows it to have optimal range yet is not quite so visible. Actually, if pulled over, an officer standing outside my car looking in will not even be able to see it unless he bends down and puts his head inside the car. The bracket was custom made out of ABS plastic. I may sell them if there is enough intrest.
