    After a year....new pics

Next up is respraying the front spoiler...

New rims are 17x8.5 MVR Magums et38 with 215/40/17. They rub a little in the rear but are perfect up front. I'm currently talking to a shop about fixing the rubbing issues in the rear. Eventually I'd like to run 245/40 all around, so I may very well pull all 4 fenders. I'm not a huge fan of the current stretched look, but I put up with it becase the rims are so fucking hottttttttttt.

The picture below still shows that the front wheel is still not cenetered after the 5 lug swap. I'm currently running offset arms (96+ M3), offset bushings, AND slotted bushing brackets. I STILL need to go forward some more. Suggestions? This guy did the e36 swap but has a perfectly centered wheel. How did he do it?

Worlds best cupholder. $20. Mounts right up and looks factory. PM me to buy.

Check out my E39 rear view mirror (no rattles and it has a cool LED for the alarm). I also mounted my V1 life saver to the bottom of the mirror. Obviously it is hardwired. I didn't want to hardwire it in the window because I think it looks like ass and is easily visible to thieves. The position it is mounted in still allows it to have optimal range yet is not quite so visible. Actually, if pulled over, an officer standing outside my car looking in will not even be able to see it unless he bends down and puts his head inside the car. The bracket was custom made out of ABS plastic. I may sell them if there is enough intrest.

any input as to other places to mount the physical v1? ihave a hidden display so I'll probably put it in the rearview mirror or something, but any ideas where to put the actual unit?

nice car btw. really comes together well.

literally just yesterday I was thinking about mounting an e39 mirror in my e30 with the built in compass (not just a standard one :P ) pretty trick shit.

I like everything new about the car, EXCEPT THE waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles ASS TIRES

                bwahahahahahaha

sorry I just fit 245s on the front yesterday

Very original car. I can dig it (not the cupholder though, I prefer the center console mounted style)

                edit: 245/40 is oversized
also, look closely at AKGs spindles, those aren't the same as my e36 spindles at all, they're offset about 1" farther forward than e36 spindles... I wonder wtf they are....

I hate you, god damn it. Your taste in wheels is superb. Are you going to put the ACS Type 3's on or was that just for shits and giggles?
I retired my E30 for now...

Niiiice. Those wheels look massive, I thought they were 18s at first. Good thing you have suitably large brakes to suit :D

Your M-tech2 kit is genuine yeah? Looks good but you might need some new clips for that front bar...

Also, these adjustable front control arms may interest you:

max out the castor and your wheels will be centred.

car looks great as always (though I agree it could use some mild bodywork!). call me crazy though, but I like the ACS wheels better than what you have now. the other wheels look like any old 5 spoke wheel (M11-2s, M11-3s, etc).

of course they still look great, a 5 lug swap on an E30 somehow makes it look a lot newer and less like an econobox.. one reason why I run with centercaps on my basketweaves ;)

                              Sold it.
