Where did you find the Blue M-tech cloth? I'm having trouble tracking down a supplier to redo mine.
I'm pretty sure you won't be a able to source blue m-tech cloth. It's most likely NLA. My seats came out of a euro touring model e30. The seats and door panels plug and play, but the rear seat had to be sewed together because tourings have fold-down rear seats. Maybe you can find one on ebay.de. You can also get replica evo cloth from Erick J aka EJohnson.
No new updates, except that I'm about to start fitting the m-tech kit soon. Here it is all laid out -

Yeah I saw after posting your thread on E30tech saying you got them out of a touring, that sent me searching ebaymotors.de, I was able to find quite a few sets (all the different versions at that), but no fronts in decent condition. Any who I was wondering how you did the rear since as you said they fold down, and you answered that. You got all the bases covered. ;)
As for Erik, already went that route, he doesn't carry/know anyone who does. I told him he should get on that ASAP.
Well was. The car was imported and federalized in 95'. The original owner ordered it as a US spec, so the M42, not the M40, a few "euro" options and had it in Germany for a few years before coming over here.
You realize we have the same cars? You exclusitivity is gone!
Mine's a federalized 91' M-Tech M42 in DSM, but repainted straight black. :(
Yeah, I commented on it on e30tech, I can't wait to see how it turns out. BTW, Vlad is doing an m-tech II sedan too, that should be an interesting project as well.
