Does your OBC actually fully function with the fuel mileage and range estimates? If so, what coding plug did you use? Please kindly share the P/N.

Your "i-drive" definitely seems like a sticker:P - which is a pretty cool gag! I like.

it is a lot easier than what you might think. Since the screen plays DVDs, a buddy and I burnt out an image of the updated idrive and my cars info and put it on a DVD. So when I don't want to watch movies, it is a nice item just for show.

like noe30 mentioned, eurowerks is a great club in the twin cities. Big, but not too big, and great guys.

Yeah, everything on the obc works. I used a plug from an m42 318i I think from the dash, sorry I don't know the part number off hand on my iPhone. I'll check for it :) Even the code function works

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I actually have the 13 button OBC in my car as well. The code plug is from the euro-market M42 car, and is $63 if I remember right from Pelican, and the number is 65811394111 iirc.

                  Epic phone.

Diggin' the RD! My buddy rocks the Kamei (spelling?) side skirts and RD rear apron. Always have been jealous of that rear... Welcome to r3v ;)

That be it! Thanks for the checking. Can't believe how much they are unless you get them second hand, but the scarcity compensates the price

Fuck I like your car a lot. Im in the works of getting a 318i just because im tired of people climbing in the back of the car. I cant wait to join the m42 world. I have many plans for the M42

                      Does the phone work?

Thanks. You will so love the m42. Sure it's not much, but in that chassis and nodded with the right things, there are few if any more fun rides on the road.

It is a factory BMW cellular unit, and I have the brochure still. But those old phones used an analog signal just like the early on star units and therefore does not work anymore. It can't unless u put a digital comp in. But it STILL LIGHTS UP IN AMBER "BMW" on the top when the car is on ;)

I like it a lot. Get the little bits painted to match and ditch the m badge and it will be amazing. but thats just my opinion.
