so you got IS skirt for a good price .. then proceeded to destroy them and render them useless. unless you glue them to the car, which has a tendancy to (near 100% of the time)fail.

That being said, is the only reasonable option, to drill the shit outta the body?
God that looks fantastic, been wanting to do this to my sedan for awhile now, hopefully this summer finally. IS skirts really finish an otherwise good looking four door and make it look just right.
Looks Good! Your car is my cars more beautiful twin!
I'd recommend 3m's VHB tape. They use it to hold airplane skins on. Its all in the prep though. You've got to wash and de-grease the surfaces first, then 24hr set time.

I have heard that. I wonder if the available surface area on the skirts with tabs intact would be enuff to hold?
I am going to get motivated and start the project this month. Thanks for the help.
I'm not big on putting holes in the body, but to properly mount something, why not? Mock it up, mark the mounting holes needed, drill them, spray a little paint on the fresh metal, mount skirts and depending on where the mounting points are (per se if they are on the bottom where no one can see 'em) or the skirts are not painted yet, spray the crap out of the screws and skirt area like they do at the factory? Or you could even squish a little epoxy onto the threads. I imagine rust is the big concern here with holes and such?
I'd rather have properly mounted $200.00 skirts than 3M taped $200.00 skirts that I'd be super paranoid will fall off.
*EDIT*
GREAT looking car. I wasn't a fan of the IS skirts, but on the four door, it works wonders.
I have been trying to convince you for months now!! :)
Yeah, but seeing it on a shadowline'd 4door, that's close to my color with BBS RS's, makes a huge difference than just trying to convince me with words :)
