    Bought it as a "swapped" M3 into a 318i. Glad all is working out, I have definitely sunk some money into it!

    He also said the donor motor was good that came with it. Imagine that, it had two cylinders full of water, acorns, and rust. Full rebuild complete as you can see!

    Ya, I read the whole thing today when I found it and got some great laughs. I really feel I scored now that it's pretty much verified to be a true M3 and not a 318 hack swap. "WINNING!"

    I had to re-read this epic thread as I vaguely remember it. Definitely one of r3v's best threads. The guy got mad cuz we told him it was a real M3 lol. Good save Curtis, the PO was an ass.
