New to here, euro spec 91 318is e30

Hello r3v commnunity, i am an recent member here but not new to e30's. I have been in contact with e30's since i was young, my family had an silver 4 door 90 316i edition (special model with 325i extras) that i've grown love for it and took care of it.

Sadly, since it had an m40, the poor thing died from an valve/rocker arm faliure. It sat 3 years in the street. It was sold for 50 euros to an guy from an local e30 club after the 18 was bought.

The 18is was bought for 3000 euros, wich is pretty good for an car that only can be found here for 9k €.

It had 120k km, diamantscwarz, 14' bbs's, black leather seats, electric windows and sunroof, black mtech roof lining, stock mtech suspension (lowered 4cm), mtech1 steering wheel and shift knob, analog clock, cassette holder,a/c, and power antenna. All this from factory form.

I regret the fact that the first owner did'nt ask for the lsd, the power steering neither the abs.

The p/o (wich was an dumbass) had installed an mtech2 spoiler that i am going to get rid of and an k&n box filter

I didn'nt do anythning to i'ts exterior appearence, all of the work done to it was into the engine perepherials and to the drivetrain.

It had new waterpump, thermostat, fan clutch and rad (oem), rebuilt head, several oil pans (too low, now has an skidpad), some new hoses here and there and an alternator. it is an very healthy engine and pulls strong to the redline; it once maxed out at 142mph

Enough talking, here are some pictures:

    Gthetto Board transportation lol

The worst quality fotos are from when i bought it.

For the appearence i am thinking to get an mtech 1 spoiler and some 15' bbs's.

    Give me some feedback!

looks like a nice project, a nice buffer should do you some good! Youll probably make a nice profit off of the mt2 spoiler

Looks great. The tech II is more appropriate, and maybe you can find the rest of the mtech body kit parts to go with it.

I like the mtech I better myself and since I'll probably never find four-door mtech II body kit parts, I just mixed and matched my bodykit pieces.

In portugal e30's are getting fucking expensive with time, there is an m3 (an standard one) for 23k € and, believe it or not an diving board ix for 15k.

I wanted to get an full mtech2 bodykit, but i am getting tired of seeing mt2 cars, now my goals are repaint it (diamantscharz) get some koni yellow shocks to replace the tired sach's ones, some 15' euroweaves (i will have to legalize them), an lip spoiler and mayby a rear racing dynamics rear appron.

Now the car is on the garage to get the wiper fixed (it became loose and with the rain it's not the best thing) repaint al faded plastic parts and fix an odd grinding noise comming from the back.

I guess that it would be expensive to ship to the us, but i am willing to sell it.

What exactly do you have to legalize, they did come as optional equipment in Europe.

Here we have an green litte book with all the car data (engine type and serial number, color, extras, and tire sizes,ect... The most important stuff they check it in an inspection or at a road stop.

if any of these items differ you will get an ticket or your car wil fail and you won't be able to drive it until you fix what's bad.

                          So you must:

-change your wheels everytime you go to the inspection

                          - get a paper from bmw saying that the tyre mesure that you will be using is compatible and then go to the local homolgation center and get an new book

-or pay a little bit more for the inspection and go
