Dig that sketch. If you do a series perhaps with some sloppy color even you could sell prints. I'd buy.

I've been there once, all anybody does there is run red lights so this doesn't surprise me, the amount of honking and congestion there makes me sick. As does most of LA really.

The fact that she didn't even check to see if you were ok really says something about her character.

I hope for the best with your insurance company, let's see another E30 soon.

        *UPDATE*
So I have $5000 to spend from insurance settlement
        Maxima is a total loss

        here's what I'm looking at

        1987 5 speed 4 door e30 180k new head belt, etc. $1600

        2000 e46 4 door 5 speed 150k 'runs good' $4400

        99-2000 5 series auto looking at a couple $3500-4200

        1996 M3 160k 5 speed 2 door $5500

        2000 Maxima auto 140k about $3000-$3500

        Thinking e39 5 series for about $3-4k and get a e30 for $1500

        or

E46 for $4-5k and just try that for a bit (I know I cant help it!!!!)

I know all the problems associated with the e46 but Theyre so damn pretty!!!

        or

        '96 M3 because I've always wanted a M3. for $5000 (ish) It's an M3!

or 2000 Nissan Maxima for $3000-$3500 and a e30 on side or other project car.

So all input is appreciated guys!!!

I know its been covered 100 times over but lets get opinionated!!!

E30. Spend some of the money on it if it needs it, don't go crazy. Save the rest.

You don't want a clapped out E36/E46. They are old cars now too remember.

            Car payments suck.

            E30.

Search Norcal for some e30s, you would be able to find better condition e30s for same price.

This, any car you buy will need work. Don't buy two cars. I say buy an E30 and be happy!

Or if you're set on 2 cars why not a 95 maxima? I think they look a lot nicer than the newer ones

yeah, the 30 is cheap and I can be happy in town. But I lhad a 2000 Maxima that was like a spaceship, it was a no brainer reliable car. I love em! See if I can get a deal from a lady at my work selling her 2000. But of course I'd like to get a 5 series , maybe even a 5 wagon 91-94

5 series seems to be the responsible DD as well as fast and easy on the eyes. I've always wanted one. The e30 would be the stupid fun car. I love the Maximas, but we always want a new car right?
the e36 M3 is super tempting, but dont know how rewarding it would be? I've always wanted a M3 as well. The e46 has had no good feedback so far
I'd like to be responsible and at least have a car I can take out of state no problem.

You definitely can talk the person selling the e30 down to 1200 if it needs a new head. Throw 2k on a swap and you have a fast car that'll last forever. 3200 for t a swapped e30 just about with money to spare.

If you have enough money left over after its all said and done

oh he said it already has a new head, and belts from 'couple' years ago.
Most decent priced e30 ive seen for a while

Talk him down a few hundred, and swap a s50 in it. Youll have enough after suspension upgrades. Megan Coils are 850 from a member in socal. So youd be all set.

Any thoughts on salvage (theft) title is300's?
                              2001-2002 about $5000-$5600
                              used about 160k-200k on em
but these Lexus's are so long lasting because they are service just about every month if they took it through the dealer. Havent heard of too many problems with them

If you get a 5, don't get an E39. They are more maintenance intensive than an E34. Parts are generally much more expensive.
