My car is a DD, so I planned my suspension build to retain ride quality and comfort, while being a capable performer when pushed. I also wanted a better stance, but at a height that's safe for the mean streets of L.A.
So here is what I ended up with:
-- Koni shocks/struts -- 8641-1210SP front, and 80 2641Sport rear. These are the m-technik, ie., lowering spring version.
-- H&R sport springs -- 50406 fronts and euro cab springs (19-03). I went with six cylinder front springs and cab rear springs in order to avoid the reverse-rake I've seen with H&R sets.
-- UUC sway barbarians along with Turner rear and AKG front swaybar tab reinforcements
-- AKG 80A subframe bushings
-- OEM RTABs and m3 offset CABs
-- TCK street RSMs with Z3 reinforcement plates
-- oem front and rear spring pad
The end result is the ride exceeds my expectations in comfort, it corners nice and flat, and it's tight as drum. And I love the stance, no reverse rake and no excessive forward rake. Yes, there is wheel gap so it won't win any stance awards, but I don't mind it, and it's pretty equal in the front and back.
