    I'm no photographer.

I know shit about taking pictures. My camera sucks. But I for some reason while I was out in the garage, I looked over and thought the current state of my interior looked really raw and unfinished. Which is what it is, but it gave me this feeling of urgency, like I just can't wait to get those few little pieces back together that will make it perfect.

I've gone for a very spartan look to my interior, gotten rid of all the bells and whistles like the OBC, the cruise control stalk, the window-lock switch, all of the AC controls, my deck is even the stock tape deck. I don't have a crazy sound system, nor do I care to have one.

I just thought this shot really captured the essence of what I've spent all my time building this car for. Maybe some will see it, some won't.

I've always said my car is a part of who I am. Now, I feel like my car is becoming an extension of me.

That is a sweet interior, why can I not find a nice cloth set of seats for my car for a good price. Good work.

They're OEM VW Recaros, from a MkII GTI. If you find a set, I can make you the brackets to install them.

I'm just really shitty at getting them out to people in a timely fashion. (sorry to those that are waiting right now) :D

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the offer.

That is a tiny steering wheel, how are you planning to steer with it.

There is an entire MK2 GTI interior for $495 on CL.

I love your car all around. It's coming together really nicely.

Just wish it wasn't a stock eta under the hood. (Though, it's a damn clean one!)

Thanks, but it's not a stock eta under the hood. I have a 325i intake manifold and throttle body, and the intake side of my cylinder head has been port-enlarged to match 325i gasket size. I also have a JimC/TMS chip, and have removed my entire AC system including the condensor, compressor, and all of the lines. Just a bit quicker than a bone stock eta, I assure you.

LOL jk Josh. I really like the interior, the Nardi will really finish it off. 8)
