this guy gets down! ive seen him drift in person, he's really good. since eurostop is sponsoring him, you guys should nice up the car a little bit, you should do a wide body similar to the the silver eurostop car. i know its a drift car, but man the car looks horrible, it looks so ebay pieced together. besides that i cant wait to see the fd series! good luck bro:up:

shame that most bmw owners have pussies....

there is a difference between fully built shop car with super deep pockets and grassroots guys that are just trying to scrape by, IMO this car is the middle. It obvious where the money went on this car, and it wasn't the body work. Props to this guy for getting the car out there and pushing it by any means he can.

Yes the car has potential! But c'mon man!? if you spend that much on everything else a nice body fitment would not hurt its e30 roots!!

The history behind the Blunt whip!

I have known Dave since his first autox. He has had an epic journey with this whip and it has been through A LOT! Anyways Ill start from the initial respray and add more.

fail on images. i cant see them.

im not going to hate on this drift car. drift cars see a lot of abuse and unless you have some seriously wealthy sponsors to fix that constantly, its going to get beat up. havent you ever seen the drift cars with cracked bodykits, stitched up with zipties?

he could take a long, flat piece of aluminum and rivet it to the top of the bumper. that would eliminate the incredible amounts of sag and take all of 30 minutes.

                              key words purpose built

it was not the only roughed up car ot there a couple of weeks ago.bumpers flew off the rx7's.only one ae86 made the top 32.hate to bring back an old thread.i was very happy to see a privateer e30 that day.hell even the v10 bmw did not make the top 32.going to give him props for a great effort.several cars had wire tires for thier bumpers.if you dont like his car you may be to old to get into drifting.i am 46 and i am always the oldest guy ot there lol:p

That car looks like a puss-filled waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles scab, as do most boro-spec, shit-kicker drift cars.

It's complete horseshit to claim drift cars should be beaten up, with cable ties holding their bodywork on. Smoodiver is (once again) on the money - cars like Mad Mike's quad-rotor FD3S are the norm rather than the exception in Pro drifting circles. Professional motorsport of any type (drag, drift, circuit, etc) should have clean, presentable cars - fair enough if it is some kid doing grass roots motorsport, but not when you're a "Pro".
