Decent day pictures

First nice day in awhile. Got up to high 40s today, so I finally gave the car a thorough cleaning to remove all the salt.

I'm still in winter mode with the caps, but my front lip was victim of a pile of snow on the road at a nearby farm. So I was working on it today, should be back on shortly.









new things are darker tails, front license plate delete, I just got new (good) floormats for my birthday, and leather shift knob and boot for christmas.

In the spring I am getting new springs, repainting my trim (bodykit), reinstalling the reiger, replacing driver's side ellipsoids, new fog light lenses, and updating some maintanence stuff. Euro grilles were paid for today.

Thanks all. Yes, I did the tails, and I think they turned out okay. They were much better than the first time I did them. I had just got my new paint gun and was itching to try it out.

Car is '87 325es. Rear skirt is RD, and sides are Kamei, picture is pretty dark to tell that they do not go around the fender arches. I do not have spring pads in the rear believe it or not, thats why I want some new springs. Mine are made for a cabrio with higher arches so they aren't supposed to lower the rear as much. I want to get ground control but it depends if i find a deal. I may just get h+r race.

For the motor, it will stay stock right now since I need a dependable commuter car (good milage). I think I will be getting the JC chip for it shortly. I do have a spare eta head thats been baked and ready for some work. I may try making a high rpm eta motor with a select chip and the right valvetrain. I'm looking to become a bmw tech, so someday 24 valves will be in there.
