If that doesn't work out, I've got a pretty good condition black leather sport interior + cash for what you've got there.

I've never encountered a 318is with a double exhaust cutout either. The angle is all wrong on the rear valance. The car likely had an aftermarket exhaust installed at some point. The easiest way to check this is to see if there is a short, 4mm lip on the exhaust cutout. If it's missing, it was definitely modified at some point.

I wish the best of luck to you on your flip. Finishing every last detail will net you top dollar.
Thanks for the advice!~ yeah, I plan to be thorough with her while I have her apart. It will be a fun project and I'll be preparing for my next while I stitch her up.

scored a euro valance for her! and maybe euro trim! April is going to be a fun month... :D

Additionally, this car will be for sale probably close to May. If anyone is seriously interested, you may contact me for more info on the car or more info on what is being done to the car. If you are motivated, I can build it to buyer spec. (lose PS and A/C ect ect.)

Please contact me if interested, the following modifications will be applied or can be forgone for a buyer. I have one individual interested in MO but nothing concrete yet, this buyer will get primary call but contact me if you would be interested in a slick top spec e30 ready 1991 318iS.

FS add will look something like this:

Brillantrot 1991 BMW 318iS Slick Top (no sunroof)
    ~149k miles
    5 speed (of course_
Purchased from a middle aged man who had owned it 5 years and had purchased it for his wife as a 20th year anniversary present. No real records, owner prior to himself is the Bay manager for Import Specialists here in Springfield MO, exotic and hyper-exotic dealer here in town.

Car will be equipped with and include but not limited to:
    Mark D chipped M42
Late model e36 electric puller fan (delete parasitic fan clutch)
    Z3 SSK
    Clutch stop
Excellent black leather sport interior with perforated black ski-pass rear seats. And plush BMW floor mats. Grey carpet and door panel inserts for a smooth two tone look.
    OEM radio
    All trunk tools/jack/chock ect.
    NO RUST
All original body panels sans the valance as it will be getting a euro valance and perhaps euro trim. (will be doing some bodywork and respray on the drivers fender as the gentleman's daughter put a dent in it in the driveway) The hood and valance will be sprayed as well, the hood has a few rock chips and we'll be doing bodywork anyhow.
Car will sit on GC coils and Koni yellow single adjustables
ATE powerslot rotors, and performance pads, with steel braided brake lines.
M3 offset CABs, and newish control arms and TABs.
Redline fluids throughout and switching to a synthetic oil.
Car will come with 14" US basketweaves and a set of direct fit 15x7.5 Kosei K1 wheels.
    US sealed beams (may change)
Momo 330mm steering wheel and hub

This is just a preliminary list and is subject to change. This car is wonderfully nice as it sits, but will be CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN for its new owner.

Price is also subject to change but will probably be near $6,000 when all is said and done, this of course will be subject as well to modification completed. In all, someone will be getting a very rare slicktop almost ENTIRELY ready for track/auto-x use.

    Thanks for looking!
