    New Wheels on my 88

Finnaly got the style 5's I redid on the car.
    17x8's all around with Nitto 555 225/40's
Handles very crisp and if I do say so it doesn't look bad either.

      Good sir,

I do believe that you could benefit from a ride height revision.

Wheels look awesome! I do agree a little more drop would help pull them off better though.

You found some 225/40's huh? Nitto has been known to have a lot of odd sizes. Tire fitment looks great. Gold bolts on nogaro centers is a bit much IMO but good job on the rims regardless.

While I agree, it also gives the rims a ton more seeming depth. Great addition to a beautiful car. They've said it before but you could be a good 1/2" lower all around ;)

Thought about lowering it - but its all brand new

Just a few months before I bought it the previous owner spent a good amount and had all the shocks & springs replaced and used all BMW OEM parts

Thi winter I did the etire front supsenion over. new tie rods in & out, new control arms, had the subframe & struts sent out for the necessarry reinforcments. New hubs. control arm bushing, sway bar links, sway bar brackets and bushings. Everything was bead blasted and painted BMW Satin Black. I was torn and was going to lower it but I decieded to first get the rear suspension done over next year and see what a brand new stock M3 would feel like and drive it for a while. I can always lower it later on.

is it just me or the angles or is the front wheel fitment funky?

Love the wheels but some red BBS centercaps would be hot. Not a fan of the "m" badge ones.
