Old member back in an E30

Been around here since '03. I bought a '91 318i vert last week for a commuter car. It needs some work but it was in overall good condition.

I bought it completely stock with bottle caps. I won't show you guys any pics since we all know what that looks like. 2 days after buying it I got some Borbet design Bs for it.

Please excuse the cell phone pics:

2 days after putting the wheels on I installed some IE Stage 3 springs and rewired the stereo to install a CD player.

The front needs to be lower. Any ideas? I'm not trying to spend a lot of money. That's mainly why I bought a 318. Cause its a pretty useless car to mod. I'm just trying to have a good looking DD.

For those who might want to see my previous DD here you go:

I still have it. Its just my DE car now.

Edit: New pics on second page...

Nice but it looks like your gonna need more than drop hats to do it right.

The first thing you could do to make it look decent is get rid of the ugly ass wheels that don't fit the car.

Borbet B's "ugly ass"? He could use the center caps, but that's the first time I've ever heard anyone call those wheels "ugly ass"..

car looks good man, get some max fixed camber plates from ie then chop a half coil on the stg 3's. thats what i did. m42 causes the car to sit a lot high with those springs.

I'm in love with your Techno. I thought you had sold it at first. Does that second pic have the IE3's installed all the way around? The fronts looks abnormally high, almost as if there is no motor in there.

Other than that, I can see this car going places.

park it nose down the driveway.

that should help eliminate some front wheel gap.

Believe he was being sarcastic. Nice looking plastic bumper car. Would like to see some better resolution shots and more rubber on the tires as well but hey it's your car. Be careful Borbets tend to be soft so beware of things.

As terrible as it sounds, cut a dead coil, remove spring pads, and get camber plates or drop hats. That gap is gargantuan. Or buy new front springs. Wheels are straight sex. Your parents have a nice house.
