S52 swap underway!

I separated the s52 from the zf gearbox yesterday for the first time and had a nice little surprise.. an aluminum flywheel! also a not so good surprise was that the clutch is on its last legs. it looks like an unsprung sachs unit but with so many e36 flywheel/clutch options i hope i buy the right replacement.

i was terribly worried about messing up the fresh gold engine bay so i thought this would be a much safer way of doing it and it worked out quite nice. I sure am feeling the picnic pressure though....
