Nice find! It looks very clean, most definitely mint condition.
I don't know whats up with some people, personally, I love bronzit. Yours is no exception Im pretty damn jealous.
Why be so secretive... we're all friends here. What did you pay? :DLeave a comment:

Exactly.
And I don't think bronzit 4 doors are anyone's cup of tea but you deal with it when you get one for cheap and bronzit's are always cheap.Leave a comment:

:yawn:I like low but practical for both street and track, I hate all that stance bullshit. This car is going to be my weekend fun/track car that I also daily drive occasionally. I will get some springs since I already have billies, IS lip, shadowline trim and some nice wide rims and tires, I've never had stretched tires and don't ever plan to. I also plan on getting an LSD, smilies and maybe smoke the reflectors on the trim. Simple and clean, OEM + is the only way.
Clean car I guess, bronzit 4 doors aren't exactly my cup of tea. But who gives a fuck what I think.
Yay I got to use the sign.

Did you really have to quote the whole damn thing to just say those few stupid words?
I think the key to making the Bronzit look good is to get rid of the tan interior. It conflicts with the car's color itself.
Look for some black seats and door handle/pockets maybe.
Black floor mats too.
This and what the one before me said about low, 15's, and ellipse.
Good luck and good find!Leave a comment:

I don't think it is terrible but it's not my favorite that's for sure but I'll work with it. Is the trim hard to get off on a 4-door? I've seen the how to on the homepage but it only covers the coupes.Leave a comment:

Bronzit grew on me.... and then became an addiction. Looks pretty clean ;)Leave a comment:

If its going to be on the track, Turner j-stock springs! Really stiff for the street, but they are excellentLeave a comment:

Good ole' california carI missed driving manual way too much so I had to find myself a cheap/fun car and this is what I ended up with! I wasn't really looking but went by my mechanic's shop to talk to him about the wagon and mentioned I was kinda looking for an E30 and he immediately said "I have the car for you" and he gave me the guys number and it turned out to be an old teacher of mine haha. I definitely wanted an IS coupe but I got this for such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. It's a two owner car and has always been babied, my mechanic personally worked on it most of it's life so I know the history really well. The paint is def 20 years old, it looks good but it is fading in spots and it has 2 dents on the front and back but who cares, I am not out to win the concourse with this thing. The great thing about it is the interior! It is in such good shape it's crazy, it looks like no one has used the car, no cracks or waves in the dash, no rips in any of the seats, etc. The shift boot and shift knob are worn but that's an easy fix. I took out the head unit that was in there and am putting in the one from the wagon later this week. I am def stoked that everything works in this car like the AC, heater, cruise control, windows, etc. It does need a timing belt ASAP so it'll be getting new belts and water pump before I really drive it much more.
1990 Bronzit 325i
170k
5-speed Manual
Price? Lets just say I got it for a STEAL ;)

God's chariot indeed

I wanted black interior but 90% of the BMW's I have owned have had tan...

Bronzit can look good, I think it requires a few 'aggressive' (as in non-school teacher) steps. Happily though, in keeping with the OEM+ path, almost everything can be done with OEM bits without going too crazy on cost.
Add low, 15+ inch wheels (Euro-weaves?), ellips, iS lip, and shadowline and I think you'd have a pretty non-boring bronzit. If you wanted to go a bit further 'french' headlights and/or MHW tails would give it pop...Leave a comment:

I know I hate the bronzit but maybe down the road I'll get it painted lachsilber or something along those lines. The car's shifter is very tight and I kinda like a longer throw then really short and knotchy. I am planning on replacing the control arm bushings and all that when I do the suspension. Like I said it already has bilsteins so I'll probably just get H&R race or some other spring. I'd love to get an LSD, that's actually more so at the top of my list then any other mods :DLeave a comment:
