Quick pics before the first driving event

of the season, coming up on Friday. Added a bunch of random stuff to my M50TU swap car.

    - RD chip
    - Oil pressure & oil temp gauges
    - Recaro SPD Driver & SRD Passenger
    - Sound deadening removed
    - Spal 14" Pusher through stock AC wiring w/ 80/88deg rad switch
    - Brake Backing plates w/ BW brake ducts (brake ducts not installed yet)
    - BW Shim Kit w/ .250 total shims added (will be adding camber plates later)
    - Borbet 17x8 type E et41 shod w/ 235/40-17 Bridgestone RE01R tires
    - Hawk HP+ Pads all around (might switch to HT10s in the rear to compensate for the E36 M3/ 318ti bias or add an adjustable valve)
    - BW Silicone Intake Boot
    - newly rebuilt diffsonline 3.46LSD w/ 40% lockup
    - Single 2.5" exhaust from headers back using Borla XR-1 Muffler in the middle & Vibrant in the rear (no cats)
    - Power steering delete
    - is front lip w/ ryan g splitter

With just the exhaust and 3.46LSD the car is completely transformed and actually feels somewhat responsive than with the 3.07LSD and modded 325i midsection. I have S50 cams and a VSR Bolt in Roll cage that needs fixin' that I may install in the next few months, but so far I'm just enjoying the car as is. And yes I know the front needs to come down a bit. ;)

              Word.

reciprocal of Ride Height = Handling.

              Expressed mathematically,

              1/RH = H

              and

              lim RH = infinity
              RH--> 0

Expressed in modern parlance, Leaux = Fazt

                  Ben,

I plan on running the same exhaust set up on mine and was curious how it sounds. Like E30polak's or louder?

It sounds amazing, much like E30polak's. Relatively quiet when cruising, but open it up and it screams. I only wish I had it done sooner.

edit- yes its very loud when at WOT anywhere above 3500rpm.

Fantastic. I'm looking forward to putting this on my car.

And the rasp is not obnoxious?

I'm not bothered by it much, but it does seem pretty raspy. Not when cruising, but around 3-4K is when it sounds raspiest.
