But if you get a 325e, there are slower from the start, but then when you put an I head on it. I is way faster then a 325is. Because the motor is really a 2.7. but if you dont plan on really tearing it out, then i would just get a 318i or a 325i.

This is NOT true. The car will have more low end tq, and maybe pretty similar quickness to a 325i. Since it's an in-garage engine mis match the power outcome seems different for people.

Unless you plan to turbo, hold out for a clean late model 318is or 325i/s.
