get a car from the south if you can. Stay away from rust. theres nothin worse than gettin under a car with plans to mod it and finding that you have to cut all the old parts off.
make friends in the e30 community because chances are if they have an e30, they have parts. Unlike some people think not all bmw parts are expensive especially e30 ones!!
o ya almost forgot... dont be one of those guys who start modding their car too early, for example dont buy a set of coilovers if you need a waterpump .

oh and dont worry guys, hopefully i will find an e30 come september and first thing will be replacing all the shit that needs replacing bushings, and all that good stuff drop the whole engine and drive train, do the rear main and clean everything, it wont see the road till 2011 some time thats for sureComment
