Wheels, coilovers, paint. We're in the process of building a house though, so it's going to be slow going. I've got enough budget left over to buy the coilovers, but then it'll probably sit for a while.

          I don't think thats an 88, more like a late 91 to 93.

yea I thought it may have had a plastic bumper swap, but the air bag means it has to be at least 91. my guess is it also has an automatic top? right?

Really? The VIN indicates it's an '88, though when I ran the carfax report it listed it as automatic. I just figured it had a bumper swap. The top is automatic.

Low is definitely at the top of the list once the necessary repairs are done.

Taillights dictate it is a 91+. Check your vin again, might be some funny business going on there...
I had 2 verts that were "automatics" but they are manual... popular conversion.

the taillights are not interchangeable. vertical reverse light = diving boards. horizontal reverse light = plastic bumpers. if its a swap, its very complete. they would have had to cut out the entire back area where the tail lights and license plate goes. you can check on the inside and look to see if it doesnt look factory.

the airbag thing though. i cant imagine why someone would swap airbags into their car.

however the front bumper does look all sorts of jacked.

                    needs: lsd, is lip, down&out.

Yeah and that accident was listed on the carfax report. The plot thickens...

If the dash has been changed out someone could have left the donor car VIN attached. Check at the top of the firewall for the actual VIN. It is also on a black tag inside the drivers door. It will give date of manufacture. It is definitely a 10/90 or later.

Good looking car regardless of year.

88 and up have the horizontal reverse light.

Not on a convertible. 10/90 and up (as Stevie30 said) have the horizontal reverse lights.

Mine is 7/90 and came with diving boards and small tails, vertical reverse.
