I hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.
I'm surprised on going back to a stock shifter from a shorter shifter. I have a z4 3.0 in my car and I love it. It was notchy for about a week until it was broken in. I find it easier to rev match on downshifts since I don't have to move the shifter nearly as much.
Damn! Didn't realize this thread was resurrected. Few quick things,
I'll grab some pictures of the cup holders hopefully tomorrow. As far as I've heard they're just little cheapo things you can buy at most boat stores that he installed with a little cut and glue effort.
The wheels and tires goal has temporarily been shelved, school came back to haunt me much sooner than expected so I'll just be ordering a nice set of 195/60-14 rubbers soon to get me through the summer months.
The seats are all factory finish, no major work has been done aside from the general upkeep.
The car does have a couple small issues that need dealing with. The el-cheapo exhaust on the car is starting to fall apart, I'm hoping to have an OEM resonator/muffler setup installed sometime soon but again... school >_<
Aside from that, I did manage to get a few things done before I lost all expendable money to this student crap.
- Euro smileys w/Osram Nightbreakers
- Euro grills
- Installed stock shifter with all new bushings
- Repaired non-working tach
- Replaced cracked foglight assemblies
- Repaired leaking headlight buckets
- Repaired leaking trunk seals
- Repaired minor surface rust in trunk with a full sand and repaint
- Replaced OBC
- "Repaired" all rock chips
- Repaired non-functioning power locks
- Replaced stock lock assemblies with rebuilt set using same key
- All new interior lights, front to back
- Re-adjusted/lubricated all door/trunk latches and hinges for smooth operation
- Removed M badge from grill and door sills, replaced with stock set
- Repaired broken antenna motor
All in all, I have not been able to treat the car as nicely as the previous owners. I will change this when I am done with school this year, and it WILL be brought back to its former glory of when Aaron owned it!

2007 Z4M Coupe - Sold to very nice people
I've finally officially brought home my first e30! LOVE the car so far, drove it all day yesterday, just a few "minor" things to take care of
Current mods on it
Jim Conforti chip, 1" drop on H&R springs and Bilstien sport shocks, shitty Z3 shifter. And here's the most important one, every service record from 1992 and its never been in the snow!
1: Remove the fake M badges from the grill, door sills, and pedals :hitler:
2: Wash it tenderly
3. Ditch the Z3 "short shifter" thats in the car and go back to a stock rebuilt shifter (already have, just not installed)
4. WHEELS AND TIRES
5. Ditch the momo wheel for an M-tech
Hey nice 318is you have there. Where did you get the center console with the cup holders? i've been looking around for somw but the ones im seeing are bulky and ugly.
Those cupholders are great, going to do that to my console once summer comes and I'm out of school, definitely in for some more pics to guide me. The vinyl seats really seem to hold up better than leather in the long run as long they aren't subjected to abnormal wear and tear. Great looking car!
