    Charley's Euro Touring

    Hello everyone,

I have been on the forum for while now (used to be scott_is but couldn't log in for some reason) and
I never really posted any pictures of my cars. I got the e30 fever 4 years ago and have since owned 3 two 318is (alpine + zinno)
and now am the proud owner of a 325i touring. I have it since Friday but couldn't anything until today because of work.

The car has its flaws but nothing serious in comparison of the 318is (now a parts car)

Here are the pics. I haven't done anything to the car yet, this is exactly how I bought it (4800$can).

    -Azev Type A staggered

    -No A/C from factory
    -Needs chrome kidneys

    -What a nice color

-Battery is under the hood but the plastic tray for it is in the rear quarter!?

-Mtech 2 wheel needs some love, leather is worn and the stitching is coming apart in two spots
-Shifter needs new bushings, I have to move the center console to reverse

-Came from germany with these speaker housing looks....ok sounds great 6.5 in each door...
    -Adjustable headlights need adjustments...
    -Euro foglights
    -Rather good looking seat covers

    -Looks like a 4doors doesn't it?

-But your sedan can't do this!

-Kinda hard to see on the pic but my touring has aluminum engine arms just like Levent's.

-Never had a check panel before all I know is my kennzeichenl. does not work? Right now my reverse lights and the license plate lights don't work.

    -German OBC
-Switch for rear wiper (witch is not installed... the PO said it looks nicer without it) need to reinstall.

-What is this small switch? what does it do?

-Rear washer fluid fill port the hole is really small filling it up must be a pain

    -Bleifrei tanken?

-Headliner is sagging big time but seems to have a foam backing?

    The car:

    325i 1989 277000k
    Bilstein sports + H&R sports
    Azev Type A 16x7.5 fronts & 16x9 rear
    Turner motorsports chip
ix 3.91 lsd (sucks on the high way)

For now its maintenance, maintenance, maintenance...then it'll be m54 swap

    -Fix rust/water infiltration issues asap
-Engine tune-up (horrible gas mileage + engine ticking badly)
    -Change all fluids
    -Clean it
-needs new rear tires rears are Champiro brand?
-Neither front or rear fogs work
    -Reverse+license plate work don't work
-Reinstall rear wiper if the motor still works
-swap locks with the parts car (locks and ingnition have 2 different keys)
    -Subframe bushings are shot
-Shifter bushings are also shot probably missing at this point
    -Install/swap broken/missing trim

    Then:
    -All red tails
    -smoked ellipsoids/turning signals
    -Radiator swap M42
    -swap seats (front)
    -CD43
    -Install battery where it belongs
    -mono wiper
    -square wheel setup 4x 16x9

I also have a few parts sitting here at the house...

    -Apexcone HID 55w 5000k
    -threehouse lolipop
    -25/22mm IE sways
    -mason front strut

This is all I can think of right now

    Charley

PS: I'll need a better sig real soon if someone wants to help... I suck at it

That is one hell of a car! You got a steal on that thing. Did it come with the Azevs? and Bleifrei tanken just means unleaded tank.

Yeah I don't like em either but coworkers that have seen it first thought
that it was oem so its not that bad.

Yes it did come with the Azevs... I probably wouldn't have bought them
but they came with the car and are easy to sell (just been refinish)

This thing is awesome. I really like the touring models. The wheels on there look great. Great pictures too, both cars are good looking. Oh, hey they're e30's;)

I hate to break it to you, but it looks like you have a 320i-- maybe it has a 2.5 in it now?? or someone just robbed the oil cooler- take a pic of the tag in the right front corner.

Switch for rear wiper (witch is not installed... the PO said it looks nicer without it) --- in the pic it is there? its the small one with the squirter thing(2pc)

-Bleifrei tanken?---- means unleaded blei=lead/ frei= free

                        kennzeichenl.= license plate light

all tourings had the battery up front- just like the verts.

90% of the euro e30s have no A/C

it really looks like someone did a whole lot of hacking around on that car and it had a rough life-- not very hard to fix though.

                          Pretty nice for a quebexican!
the little push button is the rear window lockout for child safety.

There is A LOT of hacking especially with the wiring for the stereo install... I will have to redo everything.

                            Thanks for the info
