    Hello, I am in the process of picking up a 1988 325is from a buddy of mine. 230k on the car with a few issues that i will fix in the near future. I have not decided on the purpose of the car yet, i will probably restore it and daily drive it and figure what would go best with it.

    I currently own and EVO X that I daily drive and Road Race at VIR and Summit Point. I have owned many other performance cars in the past some of them being the E46 M3 and 325ci.

    I look forward to meeting some of you all and being a part of this community;

    Pics of the 325is:

    Welcome. Great start, a year too young though.

            I had an Evo IX... In my top five cars along with the X and the M3. The EVO X front looks great in person though.

                '89s had plastic bumpers instead of metal ones. But it's an easy swap, '88 cars are a direct bolt-on for the late model plastic bumpers. Takes 30 minutes tops. And since your car is Schwarz (or DSchwartz, can't quite tell) it'll be easy to find a set in your color.

                          sweet find!

                          The 88 is the best year, It was the only year those bumpers were offered on these cars, plastic bumpers are a dime a dozen, I say if yor bumpers are in good condition (as they appear to be) keep them!

                          Welcome aboard, she looks like a steal of a deal for 850!

                              Not on an '88, the body is late model. Euro bumps wont fit without extensive modification.
