Yeah, I am beginning to question my E30 devotion as well (and I don't have a means of getting a better car yet). Great pickup dude, those cars are a blast. I even liked the shoe Z3M.

Yes sir. Only 1800 m coupes sold in North America (Canada and USA). This Alpine is 1 of 148 here in NA. That number is smaller for USA alone, and then it's less than half of that number if you're counting the one's that are fully loaded with navi and heated seats... Needless to say, took a while to find what I was looking for!

btw, I'm surprised this didn't turn into a "my swapped e30 will shit on your m coupe" thread! :o

z4 m's have such a firm, aggressive ride. Did it take a while to get used to the touchyness? How does it do on rough pavement? They are nice and fast cars, but just a little much for a daily, imo...

That is super hot. Looks like the newer body style though, wonder what motor is in there...

The ride comfort is like a lincoln towncar compared to my coilover'd e30. Compared to most cars I'd suspect it could be a little more than you're used to, but I think it's a little too soft IMO.

The touchyness of the motor on the other hand...WHOA! Driving around town in sport mode is almost impossible. The car itself is very difficult to drive, it makes you feel like you never drove stick before... kind of embarrassing when I took a buddy for a ride haha! It's the combination of the new-to-me clutch delay valve and the touchy high strung motor.

I agree though, it is a little too much car for a daily driver. Just too high strung. BUT, for night/weekend enjoyment...perfect! In the few days I've been driving it, it seems to be a REAL head turner.

Thanks Denis. I'll shoot you a pm.

Regarding the dealer, we are hopefully sorting the issues now. Never purchased from the dealer before, so it has to do with this transaction. I'll update when it's all resolved. Rest assured, if it doesn't get resolved BMW NA will be involved, and I'll be sure to post on every single bmw community forum I can get e-hands on..
