Regarding the dealer, we are hopefully sorting the issues now. Never purchased from the dealer before, so it has to do with this transaction. I'll update when it's all resolved. Rest assured, if it doesn't get resolved BMW NA will be involved, and I'll be sure to post on every single bmw community forum I can get e-hands on..

I've always loved the Z3 and Z4 coupes. Get rid of that CDV, the stock headers, and the stock airbox ASAP! Those all rob that car of it's full potential! :hitler:

Thanks man. CDV will go, headers will stay for a WHILE, as I don't to void my 4 years or so left of warranty. Stock airbox will probably stay for a while too... does have an rpi scoop on it already, kinda nice.

What's a CDV delete?

CDV= clutch delay valve. So far it has made driving the car SO F'ING DIFFICULT!!!

Supposedly deleting this valve makes it MUCH more driveable and predictable. Hope so.

CDV is so that newbs can't dump the clutch in first by accident, sending the car sideways into a telephone pole.

Sweet car. For a german dude like me it's crazy that so many e30 guys switch to Z4s. I think here in europe most e30 drivers could not afford a Z4. Anyhow sick car.
