Got to experience SoCal again this year for Bimmerfest and of course the camera was in tow! First off I want to thank anyone and everyone I met through the forums. Everyone was super nice and the hospitality in SoCal is like that of the Durty... everyone is happy to talk to you. Happy to answer questions and just all around friendly! Was a great trip back to Bimmerfest.
I have to give a special shout out and thanks to Casey and his family. Casey(pswirley) and his wife(and 2 daughters who are hella cool - socal bro) let me stay at their house twice. Made pizza. Cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. Awesome Casey. I owe you one!
With that said.... I spent all but Bimmerfest in San Diego/La Jolla area. Man I am super jealous. I arrive Wednesday morning. Eat. Do some work. Casey picks me up and Wednesday we hit 2 meets. Thursday another meet. Saturday is Bimmerfest. Saturday night another meet in San Diego. Sunday we do BMWCCA San Diego Chapter Clean Car Contest( drool worthy stuff here) and then hit up EXTREME AUTO FEST!!! Just so much going on car wise!
And off we go...
Wednesday during the day was chill. Eat. Work. Then off to check out the San Diego car scene. Casey was shooting a local's E46 M3 vert and he let me toy around with his lighting setup... got a couple good shots...

Thursday was another meet but no photos were taken. Just hanging out and talking cars. We did however get to hit La Jolla Cove and I really got to use my cameras in a new environment for me. Beautiful area and got some quality shots. I wanted to get up close and personal with some waves crashing(hopefully casey will post the pics of me trying to get the shots) but one LARGE wave came and I got pretty wet(see shot below)

Friday was nothing. Off to L.A. and stayed in a grungy econolodge... Saturday was Bimmerfest. Since I was working I didn't get too many shots but I was there and met more forum members. Took a handful of shots...

Sunday was the money day. San Diego BMWCCA puts on a 'clean car contest' and boy was this stuff clean. Just amazing BMW machinery was out. Got to meet more forum members and even get some rolling shots...

Last but not least is EXTREME AUTO FEST!!! Lawdy this was a show. Hood Hoes, lambo doors, low riders and everything else in between. It seems Casey knows everyone in San Diego so I met more cool people at this event. Most of the Hood Hoes were just low quality so only 1 shot of 'girls' and the rest is car stuff... Enjoy.

Only got In-N-Out twice. Only got 2 California Burritos. So... need to return for sure...
